ORAL DIAGNOSIS/ORAL MEDICINE

The Department of Oral Medicine/Pathology/Oncology of the University of
Michigan School of Dentistry invites applications for a full-time
clinical-track position at the Associate/Full Professor level. The
Department seeks individuals with demonstrated excellence in both clinical
and didactic teaching  and a commitment to dental education particularly at
the predoctoral level. The undergraduate oral medicine program takes place
within a multidisciplinary comprehensive care system. The major
responsibility will be participation in both the didactic and clinical oral
medicine teaching programs, with particular attention to evaluation and
management of medically compromised patients and those with a wide variety
of oral lesions and facial pain. Involvement with a planned graduate
program in oral medicine, continuing education, and patient care are also
expected. There will also be opportunities for participation in ongoing
research within the department.

Applicants must hold a DDS/DMD degree and have advanced training in oral
diagnosis/oral medicine or equivalent experience. Eligibility for licensure
in Michigan is necessary for patient care activities.
