Dental Digital Radiographic Imaging

Just to let you know that there is a paper in the May issue of
DMFR,currently on its way to you,from  Kanagawa Dental College
in Japan and Sterling Diagnostic on their TFT (thin film transistor)
system which Sterling is now advertising in e.g.Br J Radiol.

There is lot of activity in this area.I found a paper by Cowen et al
on Direct digital mammography image acquisition (Eur Radiol 7:
918-30 1997) helpful.It was wriiten in 1996,so may well be getting
out of date
