ORADLISTERS:
Does anyone have any experience with the new color frame grabber from
Scion, the CG-7?
Any thoughts on the following will be appreciated.
This is what the manufacturer says:
The CG-7 is targeted for use with three chip CCD cameras from such
manufacturers as Dage-MTI, Optronics, Sony, and Toshiba. The CG-7 will
work in either Macintosh or PC
compatible computers, providing such features as:
Three precise digitization channels with independent range of digitization
control for each channel
RGB video output of digitized video stream or frame buffer contents for
monitors and video printers
NTSC or PAL signal modes, software selectable, with resolutions of 640 x
480 or 768 x 576
        High resolution mode creates 1280 x 960 (NTSC) or 1536 x 1152 (PAL) images
through oversampling
High-speed PCI interface for demanding real-time applications
Real-time video display in 24, 16, or 8 bit pixel depths via DMA with
palette matching
Two RS-232 serial ports, eight digital I/O lines, and two analog outputs
Equally fine performance for grayscale applications

Any opinions/suggestions welcome.

Thank you.
