Lennart F......AGREE..AGREE..AGREE....it is a simple process for any
company to make a (many) $'s research donation. It is very nice to have the
compliment paid by an organization who "donates" or provides a "special
equipment arrangement" for the use of equipment for research, and I am sure
that there is in most institutions a Faculty policy in regards to the
research protocols and nature of publishing, but like Caesar's wife, one
must be above "suspicion". I have been fascinated for the past years with
the "new revolution" in technology how there is the predominince in the
"promoting" of a specific imaging system and a paucity or circumnavigation
of other alternatives in the research process.  I have a feeling that many
people in a brief few years are going to be "caught with their pants
down"!!.
I make a promise not to write anything more on this and am prepared to "cop
the flack" from whomever wishes to drown me!!...... ROSS.
