Sad news

Dear Friends,

I bring you sad news. We have lost one of our international colleagues, Dr.
Kadzuo Maeda, chairman of Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology at Nippon Dental
University at Niigata. I received a letter from his wife Tatsuko yesterday,
which stated that he succumbed to his illness (unspecified) and passed away
on December 30. The farewell service will be held in Niigata on February
15.

Kadzuo spent a year with us at the University of Michigan in the 80's,
which is when I got to know him. I believe he was planning to attend the
AIDMFR meeting in Louisville this year.
