Dental Profession and Radiation Training

Julian,
To the best of my knowledge the exam is the same for dentists or technicians
in California.  When I took the board the radiation safety exam was given
along with the written part of the State Boards, thus not requiring a
separate examination.  Nonethesless, I am still required to have a Radiation
Safety certificate.

The Air Force is interested in how training requirements and certification
requirements for our technicians compare to those of the various states.  I
would appreciate responses from this list if your state has specific
requirements.   Please feel free to e-mail me direct if you don't want to
