We have both the Plan mecca and the Siemens orthophos units.
The slicing on the orthophos unit is much easier and henceforth we use it a
lot more.
Our orthophos unit offers 16 different mode of imaging from sinus series
through plain panoramic view.
My gut differential between the two system is that the Siemens system is a
very delicate piece of machinery.
If it only bumps a patient while operating it will stop.
The Plan mecca is a better workhorse.
Quality of resulting radiographs is equal it " only depends on the operators
