Ghost Images in Panoramic Radiography

Ghost Images?????....I thought a "ghost" was something without substance or
explanation!.  I have never really come to "terms" with that TERMINOLOGY !.
I have always used the word "secondary imaging", with an explanation, but
even that is not a fully acceptable way to do it. But "Ghost"... well it
seems to me that there has been a "lemming like" approach over the years.
Call me mad or perverse......but we all have our opinions to respect.
