For those interested, the "Green Journal" has a web site at

PS The latest version of my "handout" is below. It contains a few new
listings and corrections.

There are several e-mailing lists that may be of interest to those in the
radiation sciences. With mailing lists the postings arrive at your terminal
as email. Responses are sent via email to the Listserver (i.e., to ALL
subscribers) or privately. See *** below for a more complete list.

THE MEDICAL PHYSICS NETWORK
You subscribe to the Medical Physics Network (an electronic mailing list
of over 1300 subscribers worldwide) by sending email with the text:
Subscribe medphys [your name]
to listserv at lists.wayne.edu
(Do NOT send it to medphys at ... That address is for posting messages, not
computer commands.)
   For example send
subscribe medphys John Doe
to the LISTSERV address from the terminal where you wish to receive the
email. The subject field is unimportant, only the text of the message is
read by the listserver software.

The RADIATION SAFETY Mailing List (Radsafe):
To subscribe, send an email to : listserv at romulus.ehs.uiuc.edu
For the body of the email, put : subscribe radsafe [your name]

THE BORON NEUTRON CAPTURE MAILING LIST
You send the message "subscribe bnct [your name]" without the quotation
marks or brackets to: LISTSERV at MITVMA.MIT.EDU. As you might expect, there
is relatively little traffic on this list.

You may discontinue your subscription(s) at any time by sending the message
"signoff medphys" or "signoff bnct" to the appropriate listserver.

THE LINEAR ACCELERATOR ENGINEERS' MAILING LIST
To subscribe, send the message "subscribe linac-eng" (with NO name
following) to:
majordomo at plato.aristotle.net
The address for submissions is linac-eng at plato.aristotle.net

HEALTH AND SAFETY CANADA (occupational health and safety in a Canadian
context)
To subscribe, send e-mail to majordomo at ccohs.ca
The body of the message should be
subscribe hs-canada

Notes: Majordomo and Listserv are different list managers and have different
command structures. The listservers above without the .ca are in the USA.
