Travel Study in Spain and Morocco this Summer
Interested in Studying Abroad and earning 12 units in just 1 month ?
Then let Madrid, Sevilla, Cordoba, Granada, and Morocco highlight your
summer. Join us for this exciting history program which focuses on
Moorish influence in Spain and North Africa. For mature students with a
keen sense of adventure, who are seriously interested in an in-depth
look into a unique civilization.
Directed and taught by Professor Michael Morony, Department of History,
this UCLA Travel Study Program places special emphasis on Granada, the
last of the great Moorish strongholds on the Iberian Peninsula to
surrender to Christian Europe; and Morocco, where the culture of the
Moors has continued to evolve and prosper through the ages.
