[EnviSci] Internship opportunity in Los Angeles

Seeking intern(s) for the VerdeXchange News (verdexchange.org), an L.A.-based monthly newsletter covering private and governmental efforts to mitigate climate change.  Tasks include transcription, editing, reading and scanning local newsmedia, and office miscellany.

 

Located in downtown L.A.; 10-15 hours per week; times and days are flexible.

This internship is unpaid but offers an excellent entrée into the life of the city.  

 

Knowledge of and/or interest in any of the following is preferred:

 

 -environment/sustainability

 -journalism

 -urban planning

 -public policy

 -local government

 -California government

 -global responses to climate change

 

Additionally, the office publishes two other newsletters, on urban planning and infrastructure, the internship could involve them as well, depending on the intern's interest.
