Public Leaking of the Vote?

... I wonder why there isn't any leaking of the initial vote on health care, the way you get leaks in the CIA or hear rumors about things from "unconfirmed sources." Think about it. They each tell one another their initial vote. Opinions begin to get drafted, so, presumably, clerks know. Spouses probably know. Perhaps girlfriends or boyfriends of clerks know? And even if there is a cult of secrecy where you don't tell a spouse or whomever -- wouldn't that ethic be tested in a case like this?
I just find it strange that you can get defense secrets and hear things about the CIA -- and can even hear whether Harry Potter dies in the last book before it is released -- but no one has any gossip on what the initial vote looks like.
Regards and thanks.
