As Chair of the Law and Courts Section of the APSA, I am pleased to announce that the members of the Professionals Committee for 2010-11 will be:

Wendy Martinek, SUNY Binghamton, Committee Chair
Malcolm Feeley, UC Berkeley
Mark Graber, U Maryland
Brent Boyea, UT Arlington
Tom Clark, Emory U
Paul Wahlbeck, George Washington U

Wendy, Malcolm, and Mark will serve one-year terms, having already served last year.  Brent, Tom, and Paul will serve two-year terms. I also have asked Wendy to chair this year's committee.

As you know, the Section recently transformed an ad hoc committee into this standing committee, which has the goal of providing information to the Section about the nature of its members and the law and courts professionals generally. 

I very much appreciate the service of such a distinguished panel of scholars in this important enterprise and their dedication to the Section.
