At that risk of driving Eugene into immediate retirement from the list by flooding his in-box, I too want to thank him for his work on the list. I also hope someone keeps it going.
Best,
Scott

Thanks for all of your work on this list, Eugene. I really empathize.
Especially with "if you're getting messages that you aren't subscribed
- which almost always mean that your e-mail address has changed, and
you need to subscribe from your new one." I ran the CivPro and the
FedCourts email lists for many years - more than 10, I think - and I
was endlessly responding to one problem - "I get mail from the list,
but I can't send to the list."

When I decided I'd done that long enough, I asked, as you are doing
now, if someone wanted to take over the list. No one did, and the
lists died. I let it happen in part because, for me, blogging had
taken the place of writing on an email list. For a lot of people,
writing here seems to be very important, and I hope someone steps up
to the administrative tasks.

Thanks again.

Ann
