Hi all.
My apologies for the intrusion. I was hoping you might pass this along to some of your graduate or undergraduate students. I have completely redesigned how I deliver course materials to my students. I'm offering two classes this quarter: (a) Issues and Development in American Political Life; and (b) Law, Litigation & Politics in the Criminal Justice System. The websites have slides, lectures, exams, notes (soon), and -- most importantly -- an email group. Theoretically, any student who is interested in these topics could join the group and benefit from them. The email group has two purposes: (a) to receive notices of when any new material is uploaded (so you don't have to keep checking); and (b) to discuss and circulate news relevant to each course.
I was hoping that perhaps students who have similar courses right now (or are just interested in them) could link up into one group. Imagine what it would be like if, each year, various faculty and students of class X were to have each other around in a discussion group. Might prove interesting for discourse, questions, resources, etc.
Anyway, it's ultimately just an experiment. We''ll see how it goes.
Regards and thanks.
