Though in fact, I'm largely with Sandy on this one in terms of teaching not
just the glories of our Constitution (as revolutionized and judicially
"amended" in the 20th Century), but also its serious deficiencies including
such things as using the term "speech" instead of "expression" and not
allowing easily for the democratic body to regulate campaign (to a point)
and its unamendability and the Senate's geographic distribution (15% of the
population controls 50% of the Senate) and non-direct election of the
president.
But I wouldn't go quite so far as Joseph Cotten's "Uncle Charlie."
