True, but which is worse? One reflects the actor's true beliefs (since 
Ayres presumably was not under any pressure to act other than perhaps 
peer pressure), the other may have simply been a part of the job, or an 
intellectual exercise (then again, it may be that Yoo really, really 
does like torture - I've not had the opportunity to discuss it with him).

On the second point, I concur.
