Richard Rorty (1931-2007)

Richard Rorty died  Saturday. Here's a link:

Rorty  was a teacher and adviser of mine when I worked on my doctorate at  
Princeton.  He was a soft-spoken and complex man who was a favorite  with the 
graduate students in philosophy in the late sixties.
