Status of enemy combatants and detention policy

Fellow Con Law listers,

I have been asked to give a lecture to current college students entitled
"The Current Status of Enemy Combatants and Detention Policy."  I know a
lot has been happening over the summer and I was wondering if anyone
could point me in the direction of a summary of the major issues as they
now stand, and perhaps a recent article or two that covers the issues in
the wake of Hamdan.
