Yale on origins of judicial independence

I just came across the attached article, recently published in the 
pocket part to the Yale Law Journal.  Although it's exciting to have my 
work addressed in such a wonderful law journal, I couldn't help but 
smile:  I wanted to talk about more than Montesquieu and Adams, but the 
editors at Yale asked me to concentrate on them.  My larger piece, an 
83-page article, will soon appear in the Vanderbilt Law Review.
