There has been a great deal of discussion of the NSA opinion in blogs, but none that I have seen on these lists, other than posts announcing the decision.

Leading bloggers who have discussed this opinion are also leading contributors to (or managers of) these lists.  Is there are reason they do not cross-post to the list?

I believe I waste more time than most people reading blogs, but I do not catch all blog posts on even the most famous blogs, not to mention less famous ones.

Recently a leading blogger responded with bemusement, on one of these lists, to a discussion I had started on constitutional rights for animals; he noted that the list had suddenly become active on this speculative issue after being silent for a while on (real) issues.  To which I now reply:  Blogger, cross-post thyself.
