Garza?

It might be because some people understand Latino/a and Hispanic to 
refer to Americans who come from (or whose families came from) Latin 
America (sometimes limited to Spanish-speaking nations and sometimes 
not) and some would also include Americans of Spanish (and perhaps 
Portuguese) descent.  Cardozo qualifies under the latter definition but 
not the former.
