Fair question.  The answer is e
Edith Jones (a distingushed graduate of my law school).  As for "judgment," incidentally, I think this isBest ascertained when nominees have done significant public service prior to their appointment, where we could observe.their capacity for "grace under pressure.". By that criterion, only Clarence Thomas (and perhaps Ruth Ginsburg) comes close, though I suspect that people on this list would disagree about the lessons learned.
