Inquiry on Significant S. Ct. decisions

Hello:

I am currently conducting a workshop series on the Supreme Court for a group of
senior citizens. Several of them have asked me what were the most significant
decisions ever made by the Court in its history. I thought this might be an
interesting question to put to this listerv; that is, what were the top ten
decisions made by the Supreme Court in its entire history?; and, what criteria
were used to classify these specific decisions as belonging in the top ten?

Replies can be sent directly to me at rbradley at ilstu.edu. If a sufficient number
of replies are received, I will share with the listserv the aggregated results.
