Why, certainly.  The same article in which I first saw the graph reproduced 
in Jerry O'Neil's post noted that for every $1.00 in federal taxes paid by 
Alaskans, the state gets back $1.89.  Oops, maybe the problem is that this 
Congress doesn't put aiding poor people who need services very high on its 
priority list.
