Have the historians on the List departed?

       Just some gentle prodding to get some feedback from the historians on 
the list.  I have some 15-20 responses, but only one self-described historian. 
 I'd be grateful for responses from historians.  Just indicate that you are a 
historian and whether you've heard the term "departmentalism" before.  Thank 
you very much.
