Hardly, Mr Zentner. That was not what I said in my original posting or
in my posting to to Mark. There is a huge difference between the
historial accuracy of the Gospels (or the Old Testament, or *any*
religious text) and the notion of faith. Furthermore, as you are
probably well aware, the Gospels themselves are inconsistent, as are
parts of the Bible. For example there are two rather different
"creation" stories in Genesis. It is hard to believe them both at the
same time; Nor is it likely that Joshua stopped the sun. To point these
things out is hard to question faith. I would argue, in fact that
Christianity, at its heart, is opposed to bigotry and hate and even
blame. Thus, my discussion can hardly be an attach on Christianity. I
have no problem with Christianity per se, or with anyone's faith. I did
not say what you claim I am saying. Plain and simple.
