Pennsylvania Coal Co. v. Whom?

Colleagues:

Sorry to ask so prosaic a question, but is there a consensus on how to
pronounce "Mahon"? I've heard it pronounced 'man' and 'mayun'; in parts
of England, it would be pronounced 'moon'.

This, of course, is not the only case where an issue of pronunciation
arises - being of English origin and hence ignorant of such things, I had
to be educated about "Boerne" ('berny'), for example. Is there a source
anywhere of correct casename pronunciations? Coming from a country where
"Featherstonehaugh" is pronounced 'fanshaw', such a resource would be of
great value to me!

Thanks,

Patrick
