Controversy over Pub Crawl at Illionois LS Allegedly Creates Hostile Environment

A pre-St. Patrick's Day pub crawl held by a group of law students at the
University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign has ignited the ire of a law
professor who believes his civil rights were violated after he allegedly was
insulted and demeaned by the school's administration when he complained about
the event.

The crawl, called a Pre-St. Patrick's Day Bar Crawl, is anti-Irish,
anti-Catholic and racist, said Francis Boyle, the law professor who tried and
failed to stop the event held Friday.
