[Apologies for cross-posting]
I will be teaching a two-credit course on American constitutional history to
law students next Spring, and I want to start thinking about what to cover,
and how to cover it. With only two credits, perhaps, it would be best to
focus on a few major controversies? (e.g., Founding, National Bank, slavery,
segregation, Lochner, New Deal). Suggestions (books to use, how to structure
the course, how to test the student, etc.), please. You can respond
privately to davidebernstein at aol.com.
