Yes, Eugene, but we really don't know that CB was "retarded."
"Feeble-minded" and "imbecile" were not and are not precise clinical terms.
That's what I meant by "ignorance," not adherence to discredited theories of
eugenics.

I agree with others that the decision was wrong.  I just don't see it as in
a class with Dred Scott and Bush v. Gore
