Just like his father's 85% approval rating had everyone predicting another term for George, Sr? A lot can happen between 2000 and 2004 and it is not implausible (and certainly not the suggested impossibility) that one or more major accomplishments that galvanize public support would bring about the same sort of emergent hero syndrome that has benefitted comebackoftheyear athletes.

Unless there's a crystal ball to which I don't have access, never say never.
