Alleged chicanery

For what it is worth, I have just spoken with a professor in South
Florida who says two things:  1st: there are about 1,000 ballots Palm
Beach Countywhere people voted for everyone but the president, according
to the machines,and that a hand count may show a presidential vote that
was not recorded and these ballots may change the vote for Gore;  2nd:
he also notes that the overseas ballots will not just be military, but
lots of retired people who are away from Florida for the winter!!!! Many
in Israel; they might be voting Gore.  Even if this turns it around for
Gore, I think a revote in the county or state is in order, but perhaps
those who are calling for it will drop their claim, and then it will be
interesting to see how many people on this list (as well is in the Bush
campaign) suddenly want the state to vote again and suddenly see the
merits in a revote!.
