Request from RELIGIONLAW re: keeping the threads separate

        I certainly see why some people are posting messages about
Southworth and Doe both to RELIGIONLAW and to CONLAWPROF.  Still, it can be
quite confusing to RELIGIONLAW-only people when they see a response to a
CONLAWPROF message without seeing the original message.  I've gotten one
such complaint just now, and not from someone who's known for complaining.
I'm not sure what's the best solution, but one possibility is that any
responses to CONLAWPROF messages should go only to CONLAWPROF.

        One other small item:  I'd prefer that messages to the RELIGIONLAW
list *not* include any mention of CONLAWPROF.  RELIGIONLAW is an open list,
but CONLAWPROF is generally limited only to lawprofs; and I think it's best
to follow the old rule of not mentioning a function in front of people who
aren't invited.
