Death of Frank Pape

Dear Folks,

        Frank Pape of Monroe v. Pape died last week.  His obit was in The New York
Times yesterday (Sunday, March 12).  I know some of you like to "spice up"
cases with interesting historial information.  Personally, I did not know
of Mr. Pape's libel suit against Time Magazine that also ended up in the
Supreme Court.
