Missing justices

Does anyone have any comments on the fact that none of the justices
attended the state of the union address?  They all seemed to have their own
excuses, but it seems pretty odd.  Was the Court trying to send a message?
Is there some other explanation?  I find it hard to believe that it was a
coincidence, but equally hard to figure out what else, if anything, is
going on.
