5th Cir. holds that state sovereign immunity bars recovery under the Family and Medical Leave Act

        Kazmier v. Widmann, 2000 WL 1210502 (5th Cir. Aug. 25), per Wiener
joined by Garwood, holds that state sovereign immunity bars recovery against
a state under the Family and Medical Leave Act.  Dennis, dissenting, would
hold that the FMLA enforces the 14th Am's guarantee of equal protection
without regard to sex.
