Generally, I'd be sympathetic to the "piling on point," but for many in the country today, the Tyler Professor of Constitutional Law at Harvard--particularly when he gives aid and comfort to those who, like New York's own Rudy Guliani, describe their national government as in the hands of "storm troopers"--carries far more weight than a career government lawyer who is saying exactly what you'd expect him to say, then piling on is called for.  Tribe's op-ed was pernicious, and it should be repeatedly labeled as such until it loses all possible claim to legitimacy.
