Yes, you can use the c-print monitor to print the value of your nesC variables. Look at http://citavroraz.sourceforge.net/docmonitoring.html for how to use the latest code of this monitor.

For debugging you can use the gdb server. Documentation at http://compilers.cs.ucla.edu/avrora/gdb.html

I would like to use "printf" to print some information when running 
TinyOS codes by AVRORA. However, it seems that it does not work in 
AVRORA. Is there any similar way to debug the TinyOS codes? Thanks!
