[Avrora] Receiving Process

Hi all,

Can any body please explain to me what exactly happens in avrora when a node 
receives a packet until it is delivered to Receive.receive fucntion. For 
example function x in class y first receives stream of bytes, then the MCU 
can take these imputs through the IN instruction through port z and store 
them in whatever, etc...
I really want to understand how it works exactly may be starting from radio 
classes until the highest level of abstraction.
Any help is so appreciated.
