About Prison-law-jd
English (USA)

This list is designed for law students and young lawyers interested in prisoners' rights. It will be used to share job and fellowship announcements and other information of interest, and for discussion and mutual support. There is already an active listserv connecting practicing prisoners' rights lawyers around the country, which has enabled the building of a strong and supportive national community of people doing this work. Prison Law JD aims to build out this community to include the next generation of prisoners' rights advocates.

Prison Law JD is an initiative of the UCLA Prison Law & Policy and Policy Program.
