MMWG -- Media and Materiality Working Group

About MMWG
English (USA)

Our works-in-progress group examines media and materiality in the seventeenth and eighteenth centuries. Our format is flexible and collaborative, and our aim is to facilitate new work in the study of material texts, the archive, and histories of mediation, especially as digitization and digital humanities scholarship engender new approaches that can be explored, debated, and experimented with. We are open to faculty and graduate students in the Los Angeles area, and current visiting fellows at the Clark Library are especially encourage to present on their use of archival materials.Organizers: Stephanie Koscak (skoscak@ucla.edu) and Alice Boone (aliceboone@humnet.ucla.edu). For a calendar of upcoming events, please visit our blog at http://clarklibrarymediamateriality.wordpress.com/.
