About ISHN-L	English (USA)
PURPOSE: ISHN-L is reserved for members of the International Society for the History of the Neurosciences (ISHN) to discuss only ISHN business. It is unmoderated (once subscribed by the list administrator, members may post directly to all list members). Messages and list archives are available only to ISHN members. AUDIENCE: ISHN-L is a private, restricted list of ISHN members only. Individuals may not subscribe themselves. To subscribe, make a request to the list administrator, Russell Johnson , who will confirm your membership in the society through the ISHN Secretary. TO POST MESSAGES: After you are subscribed, send messages to: ishn-l@lists.ucla.edu An alternative list, HISTNEUR-L (The History of Neuroscience Internet Forum) is available for discussion of neurohistory topics (announcements, inquiries and discussion on access to historical sources, etc.). That list is open to all; ISHN membership is not required for HISTNEUR-L. Information about that list is available at: http://www.neurosciencearchives.org/histneur.htm . To post a message to all the list members, send email to ishn-l@lists.ucla.edu. You can subscribe to the list, or change your existing subscription, in the sections below.
Subscribing to ISHN-L
Subscribe to ISHN-L by filling out the following form. This is a closed list, which means your subscription will be held for approval. You will be notified of the list moderator's decision by email. This is also a private list, which means that the list of members is not available to non-members. Your email address:   Your name (optional):   You may enter a privacy password below. This provides only mild security, but should prevent others from messing with your subscription. Do not use a valuable password as it will occasionally be emailed back to you in cleartext. If you choose not to enter a password, one will be automatically generated for you, and it will be sent to you once you've confirmed your subscription.
